Desktop Screenshot 2005

You may be asking yourself, “What am I looking at?”

This is my current desktop as of Oct 27, 2005.

Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, with FlyakiteOSX theme installed and some modifications made, such as icon size and some graphics. Note the pretty blue glow behind the windows. I had to kill a village of smurf’s to get that blue color.

The right and left sides of the screen show my QuickLaunch bars, one for Programs and one for Web Links. You also see an open folder of my personal files on an external drive. Don’t ask me why I don’t just use the laptop’s hard drive, I don’t know.

The programs open are Firefox, Winamp, Word 2003, Google Earth, Y’z Shadow, and the energetic Windows MediaCenter Screen Dancers. Also running is XP’s army of bloated background services, minimized by BlackViper’s run/services.msc advice. Yes yes I am teh PC expert.

The computer running all this junk is my nifty new 2.8GHz HP ZD8000 Ultra-Heavy-N’-Hot Gaming Laptop!
